Blueprint America: Beyond the Motor City
This is a reminder that Blueprint America: Beyond the Motor City debuts nationally this February 8 at 10pm on PBS (check your local listings). If it's unavailable near you, then head to the Blueprint America website to stream the documentary. PBS will post the entire movie to the site Monday at 10pm, the same time it debuts nationally.
From everything we have seen so far, this installment in the Blueprint America series should be an interesting and frank exploration of how we can reshape our cities for the future. One of the many noteworthy quotes from the preview:

We couldn't agree more. However, we would expand that statement to say that has to start here in Michigan.
Screening with Transportation Riders United Postponed—But for Good Reason
In a previous post we mentioned screening Blueprint America: Beyond the Motor City with Transportation Riders United for a night of activism. Because the filmmaker of Blueprint America is interested in attending, we've decided to postpone this event to later this month. More details to follow.
