Michigan Prosperity Summit to Explore “Place-Based” Policies

The Friday, April 23, the Michigan Land & Prosperity Summit will take place at the Kellogg Hotel & Conference Center at Michigan State University in East Lansing.

According to their site, the Summit will focus on:

How we in Michigan can work across multiple levels—federal, state, regional, local—to harness new opportunities to move our state forward, especially those that are in line with emerging priorities out of Washington D.C., such as “place-based” economic policies.

The event hosts, the Michigan State University Land Policy Institute and the Michigan Land Use Funders, which is coordinated by the Council of Michigan Foundations, have organized several panels and breakout sessions focused on building vibrant communities through community investment.
